Oji Forest and Products was created in April 2003 from the merger of two companies with long histories (Oji Mokuzai Kogyo, which developed from Nichiro Mokuzai, established as a joint venture with Oji Paper and Tairiku Mokuzai Co., Ltd. in 1927, and Oji Ryokuka, known as Oji Zorin at its founding, which was established in 1937), with the goal of strengthening the timber-related business foundations of the Oji Group. Counting back to the founding of Nichiro Mokuzai, this gives us over ninety years of history.
